October 11

Notes

Collimator

  • read the parameters from csv files
  • change the name to the right naming standard
  • change flowcombiner and Qbypass blocks to python script

CCTV

Tensorflow

  • implement Tensorflow and Tensorboard for multi label classification. Compare the results with Fastai
  • come up with the questions on how can run Tensorflow with multiple nodes and GPUs and asks them in the workshop tomorrow

Prediction run for multi-label classification

  • run a prediction script on DNV dataset
  • generate a box plot of the distribution of label
  • lower the prediction threshold to be less than 0.5
  • generate a box plot of the distribution of the prediction percentage of all labels of all the images
  • create a python code where you can select to show images of certain prediction labels or certain ground true label
  • convert DNV label to SewerML label

Prediction run for water level

  • run a prediction script on DNV dataset to predict water level
  • create a python code where you can select to show images of certain prediction water level

Questions to Dr. Lence

  • need to enroll in PACP course to improve domain knowledge
  • do you know anyone who has accessed to PACP manual or has an knowledge on PACP standard

October 13

To Do

  • Asking Dr. Lence about the sewer data from COV, to apply for google cloud.
  • COF of sewer main breaks
    • Finding the nearest river, lake, stream of each sewer main (ideal from flow line from centroid sewer main).
    • Use their LOF number from Access Database.
    • Calculate COF, Risk, create GIS map.
  • Find out hwo they calculate LOF PACP score.
  • Find out about SCREAM 8.0.
  • Research on COF of sewer break.
  • Submit small runs using tensorflow and tensorboard to compute canada
  • Set up Google cloud API and generate all frames csv files
  • Label each images according to distance in CSV files and information from access dataset
  • Clarify is the think piece going to be apart with thesis

Notes

  • Deterioration model: from inspected pipe, build a deterioration model that can be used to predict the defect of other pipe. Use this defect to calculate the pipe condition.
  • Get sewer model from Sean?
  • Tie the FME proposal and how COV approach to COF calculation and can include it in the think piece.
  • Internship should be done by March 31 2023.
  • Get list of questions and expectation during the training.

October 14

  • compile all papers related to collimator and give it to Pavan.
  • Meeting with Dr. Lence:
    • Identify tasks I need to complete my thesis
    • Computation time and writing thesis in order to meet the deadline
    • Meet next week no later than wednesday. On wednesday
    • Sort out how google
    • email the NASSCO PACP about the course.
  • Submit smaller jobs to compute canada
  • Add building and diameter to COF calculation of sewer main break.
  • Look at the article sudhir sent for COFS
